A Historical Understanding of “Effeminate” Christianity.
Eric Pazdziora gives us some perspective on the trend of calling certain worship styles or churches (or fellow Christians) “effeminate.” He then turns around and explains why this century-old trend doesn’t go away.

I feel like people on both sides are talking past each other. :/
I had no idea this debate was going on. Maybe it’s not a concern in the Catholic corner?
Interestingly, the first thing I thought of (and what Eric mentions) is that we’re the Bride of Christ. Psalms casts us all in feminine roles. And I remember C.S. Lewis asserting something along the lines of, “Aren’t we all feminine compared to God?” But that is, I think, a different use of the word “feminine.”
