  • Pi vs Tau

Is it scary that I almost understood this?

Is it scarier that I think I just almost learned something about sin and cos that I didn't ever get when I was failing precalc and calc in high school?  (I'm sitting here going, wait, sin and cos had to do with going around a circle?!  [I think the trouble is that I'm very much a visual learner, which is why I aced geometry and even algebra and did okay at trig, but when we left diagrams behind for graphs and it all became formulae and derivations, I just got really lost.  (Anyone else feel like they were cheated out of knowing things in high school because they were explained badly?)])

  • Can I just say I was ecstatic over your multiple parentheses? :D
Also, I kid of started to enjoy that video which is pretty amazing... Math has been hard for me since long division. And I had really great math teachers. :

  • I would like both some marionberry pie and some gen tao's chicken :D

  • Wow, this is very informative... I man oh man do I like TAU better... Why wouldn't they teach our teachers this and have our teachers teach us in High school... jeez... some were so lazy that they didn't understand what they were teaching and expected us to magically know...  Thanks! I enjoyed this very much and I even think I learned something!

  • but then, they cannot continue the american pie movies!   oh no!

  • An interesting argument...a lot more convincing than the Base 12 folks.

  • When Coach Jones asked Radio if he wanted apple or blueberry pi(e), he answered, "Both."

  • It's funny you mention that Chris.  I did very poorly in highschool math, but was a whiz at math once it was taught to me in science class.  I think it was just a better way of learning.

  • wow, that video was pretty cool.

  • This is supremely excellent!
