Alan Rickman
So, last night Jessie and I are watching Kevin Costner's "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves," and we get to the scene where the Sheriff of Nottingham has caught Marian conspiring with the outlaws and tattling on him to the King.
When he shows her the letter she wrote that he intercepted, I burst out, "Fifty points from Gryffindor!"
We couldn't stop laughing for half an hour.
One of the best lines in that movie is when the frustrated Sheriff is storming around his castle and passes two women. "You--my room--10:30. You--10:45. Bring a friend." *storms off*
Alan Rickman, if you're reading this, all I have to say is, you're just awesome.

that picture of snape is awesome
Die hard. Thats all I have to say. Die hard.
@TheGiantSlayer - I agree with TheGiantSlayer. One of my favorite movie lines is Rickman saying "He won't be joining us for the rest of his life."
I <3 Snape!

Yeah, Alan Rickman was pretty much the best part of that Robin Hood movie...
He's utterly amazing. All my friends freak out but... he's definitely my old man crush.
hello
I'll cut his heart out with a spoon.
Why a spoon?
That way it hurts more, you twit.
When I read The Graveyard Book, I realized about two sentences after the appearance of Silas that his voice in my head was Alan Rickman's. They totally need to get him for the movie.
@Pass_the_Aura - Hah! I could totally see that.
In my head he was a little more Jeremy Irons.
He's a genius. Any man who can break my heart in Sense & Sensibility - "The air is full of Spices" - and then turn around and do something like Galaxy Quest, is just....it. He has, since Robin Hood, been "the Voice." There's nobody like him.
They needed someone exactly like him as Snape. And I think they'd be hard pressed to find a better Puddleglum.
@Cymrugirl - You know, I agree--he'd be a great Puddleglum. Though the BBC version's actor wasn't half bad himself...
@Cymrugirl - On an unrelated note: Hi! How's life been treating you? Long time no viddy!
Love that man! Which is why I dedicated my xanga page to him.
